Dear all UTM Students,

As a member institution of the World Technological University Network (WTUN), UTM is pleased to welcome all undergraduate and postgraduate students to enter WTUN’s annual student competition. The deadline for entries is 01 July 2022

All you have to do is use Digital Creativity in some way to try and address one of the WTUN’s chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
1. Affordable and Clean Energy
2. Climate Action
3. Clean Water and Sanitation
4. Sustainable Cities and Communities
5. Gender Equality

1. Form a team of four students (undergraduate or postgraduate)
2. Formulate your idea into a proposal and short video
3. Email to register your interest by 22 May 2022 to be invited to an online student and mentor knowledge exchange session to be held in early June (exact date TBC).
4. Submit your proposal using the form below by Friday 1 July 2022

♦ Winners will be announced by 11 August 2022.

♦ The winning team will be selected to present their idea at the next Congress meeting of the WTUN in Thailand later this year.

♦ Please note that the dates for the trip to Thailand for the winning team will be confirmed soon. If the Congress changes to a virtual format due to travel restrictions, or if the country that the students are from does not allow travel, you will be invited to present your winning project proposal online and instead be offered an alternative cash prize.

Submission for the competition is completed via Microsoft Forms in the link below. You will be asked to answer a range of questions set to the assessment criteria below. Each proposal must also be accompanied by a short 3 minute video showcasing the proposal. The video must be uploaded to either Vimeo or YouTube and submit the link with the Microsoft Form proposal. The project proposal must include an element of Public Engagement

If you have additional documents, demos or media to go alongside your proposal, please email them to clearly stating your team name.
