The International Summer University of Hochschule Darmstadt is a four-week intensive program which runs in summer time (July 21 – August 17, 2013).
It offers a state-of-the-art introduction into “Energy-efficient and Sustainable Building and Construction“. The program combines lectures and seminars from professors from the department of Civil Engineering with hands-on experience and lectures of practitioners during field trips in Germany. Participants will also have the chance to improve or start learning German in intensive German-as-a-Foreign-Language classes. Up to 9 credits can be awarded for these classes.
The International Summer University also aims to provide an insight into German life and culture. Therefore, the ISU Team has a variety of activities prepared for all participants outside the classroom. The team will be available 24/7 during the summer university.
