Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the Seventh Round of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. The Scheme aims to attracts top international students to pursue PhD studies in Hong Kong’s world class research institutions. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2600) and a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approx.US$1300) per year for a period of three years. More than 230 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2016/17 academic year. The deadline for initial application is 1 December 2015.
